As a member of Ätbart, you are supporting a small environmental organisation that is passionate about fostering local, non-profit solidarity with people who find themselves in vulnerable situations.

In an increasingly politically turbulent era, Ätbart believes in civil society as a key pillar of democracy. With the aim of uniting local initiatives and highlighting shared issues, Ätbart runs the Swedish Food Bank Network. As a member of Ätbart, you help to build a democratic platform and support us in our work to amplify the collective voice of civil society on the issues of food poverty and food waste.

As Ätbart aims to operate independently, we strive to ensure that our activities are not dependent on the current government or corporate sponsorship. This is to preserve our integrity and our ability to champion key issues: the importance of reforming the food system and the pursuit of an equitable society. Membership of Ätbart makes a huge difference to the organisation’s survival.

Membership costs 99 kr and is valid until the next annual general meeting.
